hoho. just woke up from a 4h nap but i'm still sleepy. i'm so sleep deprived this week. so busy yet so fun! thanks to aristal i get to skip so many GP lessons. wahaha so shiok. there was a aristal reheasal at UCC on thursday. haven been there for quite some time le. i remember the last time i've been there was for an EL production if i never remember wrongly. but many super interesting things happened there haha.
first incident. haha nuanting forbidded me to blog about this but i'll do so anyway haha. our class went into our dressing room which was super big and looked even bigger than some of the chalets we had. then i had a bright idea of fooling everyone that there is a toilet in the room cos the cupboards all look so big. i pointed to the back cupboard and said it was the toilet. haha then nuanting also wanted to fool someone else that there was a toilet and said the first cupboard was the toilet and she pretended to go in and use it to make the act more realistic. haha then when she went in john held the door close and dun let her out. haha so for 5 minutes we were all laughing while nuanting had to pretend it was a toilet and must imitate the flushing sound. hahaha.
second incident. even funnier. it was jestyn and junxiong's first trip to UCC, so they decided to explore the undiscovered world of UCC's backstage which i assure u is 3 storeys high. while we were all in our dressing room we got a call from junxiong that both of them were trapped somewhere cos the door on the other side has no handle. then me and kayhow went searching all over the place for that one special WHITE door which they were trapped behind. haha damn funny. they were trapped in a place called orchestra pit/trap. they NEVER see the word TRAP la. haha and they just walked into the place. and junxiong was complaining that his handphone batteries just died by about 20% just trying to lead us on how to get them out.
third incident. haha by right this incident should remain secret one but heck. the food com ppl had to prepare rose syrup for them. and they poured in 2litres of pure concentrated syrup into the dispenser la. haha then it was SUPER sweet and not enuff to go around. and since we didn't have a stirrer big enough to stir the whole mixture, we invented new ways of stirring. one which involved circular motion. hahaha me junxiong and kayhow all take turns push in one direction so the dispenser can go in a circle. the next way involved yun jie holding on the dispenser and jumping up and down, a lot like that milk tea stall u see in pasar malams where got one doll holding on to a bottle jumping up and down haha. damn funny.
the actual day came swiftly and passed smoothly. there didn't see to be any major hic-ups. i personally liked a few of the dances and their songs, some more for their song lol.
ang-gun was wonderful. wahaha me and jestyn went to the extent of trying to learn their dance even though it was an all-girls dance. never mind i shall unleash my potential in seductive butt shaking if i get the opportunity while jestyn is the only one that can do that funny thing with his head that makes him look like an egyptian.
eastern sunrise very nice! especially the song! the song itself brings out the mood of the sunrise very very well! i want that song i want that song! the song goes easy on the grandness of the music from the start with the help of mainly woodwind instruments to depict the image of the sun's awakening. it gives a sense of anticipation and expectation. then it progresses on with slightly more majesty to bring out the grandeur of sun rising steadily into the sky ending with a short moment of grandness as the feeling of serenity seeps in with the changing of instruments back to soft-instruments, which instills the sense of a lovely peaceful morning to start out a fresh new day.
latin was quite good too. except that the dances like very hard to learn cos this time it involved hip shaking. haha but the song was also very nice. i heard the song is i need to know by marc anthony. its very nice also! but i like the dance too its very latin dancing style. haha.
sian too bad the whole aristal event is over. we had loads of fun from all the funny antics we seem to come up with like the entertainment value of me, junxiong, kayhow and jestyn trying to dance some chinese dance. haha its meant to be seductive but i dunno why everyone laugh. i know this'll be another memory i dun want to forget so i'm going to make sure that i dun forget this 2 days now (:
